    On Thursday we went to the MASS MoCA with some friends who visited from California. This is always an inspiring experience. I enjoyed photographing and taking in the different art projects. One which especially inspired me was an interactive installation by Shaun Leonardo.

    steadily forward, slowing your steps
    once you realize you will have to avert your gaze.

  • Finding the Words

    It has been years in the making, and finally on January 28, 2023 we have our premiere of our documentary Finding the Words. The documentary takes a closer look at the impact impact writing & community have on incarcerated and formerly incarcerated women, as well as women in recovery in Western Massachusetts.

  • The Great Illusion

    This 2 minute short film was created for the 7 Day Film Sprint 2022 organized by Northampton Open Media. The prompts for our contribution were “Now”, silent film and obvious reference. It was a wonderful collaboration with Gokce Oraloglu and Alexandra Wagman.

  • Unconditional Love

    Home life has been very straining those last couple of weeks, but by Friday we had a veritable crisis at hand. We had to intervene in a way which some time ago, we didn’t believe possible. The question is how can you help someone, who doesn’t want help. How can you make sure they receive the care necessary, even if you really have no idea what they need. You just know it can’t go any further.

  • Booku – a Northampton Haiku

    The other day Aundrea and I were exploring our potential new home town Northampton and we were strolling through Thornes, a quaint little market place in the center of the city. Filled with locally sourced food stores and artsy shops it is a fun spot to explore. We ended up at the book store and suddenly I was thinking of a little “Haiku” game. Selecting five book titles and creating a poem with them. Can you guess who created which one?
